Below is a brief overview of what to expect but my real passion for the last few years is fishing with 'Ultralight Outfits' or 'LRF' if you're near the coast. The enjoyment of my angling and many others has increased 10 fold since scaling down. This technique is also extremely agile allowing you to target a multitude of species without the need to carry everything but the kitchen sink. Hopefully you'll find some useful information that is otherwise difficult to find on the internet ESPECIALLY for the angler that may holiday in Europe or further afield.

Fishing from the age of four has taken me through all the various disciplines but for the last 7 years I have found a huge fondness for lure fishing. Minimal equipment leading to short more accessible sessions, the visual aspect & outwitting predatory fish. These all combine to the most exiting branch of our much loved sport. Be it fishing jerkbaits for Pike, casting small soft plastics for Perch & Trout, going abroad and pursuing exotic species or standing on a harbour wall using LRF tactics for micro species. Each lends its own opportunity for the agile angler.
